EU Organic eco-certificate: what it means for you and our products

Important news: We are pleased to announce that our products are now officially certified according to the European Union regulation on organic farming (EU Organic) in 29/09/2025.

We have received the Euro-leaf mark — and this is not just an award, but a symbol of the highest level of trust and quality control for us, and peace of mind for you. Here is why this certificate matters right now.

What is the "green leaf" of EU Organic?

The Euro-leaf symbol is the main ecological label of the European Union, introduced in 2010. Green stars on a white background, arranged in the shape of a leaf, guarantee to the buyer: this is not just a "bio" or "eco" label, but a product that has passed rigorous checks along the entire supply chain.

The core principles of this standard are stricter than many national ones:

— 100% organic ingredients (no more than 5% of non-organic is allowed only where no organic alternative exists in nature, such as salt or baking soda).
— Complete GMO prohibition (less than 0.9% accidental presence, which is critical for feed and additives).
— Minimum "chemicals": Synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, growth hormones and antibiotics are prohibited.

How did we achieve this?

Obtaining EU Organic while operating outside the EU is more difficult than for a local farmer. We successfully completed a full audit to meet the benchmarking standards.

What the inspectors checked:
1. Fields and seeds: We confirmed that the land has not been treated with prohibited substances for the last 3–4 years, and that the seeds contain no GMO traces.
2. Segregated storage: Organic raw materials are isolated from conventional ones in our warehouse to avoid cross-contamination.
3. Technology: In production, we replaced synthetic catalysts and cleaning agents with approved bio-based products.
4. Documentation: The most demanding part — full traceability "from seed to shelf".

Why does this matter to you (our customers)?

Obtaining EU Organic is our commitment to serving the most discerning audience.

1. Barrier-free access to international markets
The EU certificate is recognised in all 27 EU countries, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom. If our products now go to Europe, customs will let them through the "green channel" without unnecessary questions about chemical residues.

2. Guarantee of purity for the whole family
The EU Organic mark is protected by EU law. It cannot be forged — that is a criminal offence in Europe. So when you buy a product with this label, you physically get a product: without pesticides in the pulp or peel; without nitrates and phosphates; with a preserved natural taste, because we do not use flavour enhancers.

3. Care for the environment
The certification obliges us to use biodegradable packaging, save water and implement recovery systems. Our carbon footprint is now officially reduced.

What should you pay attention to?

We do not use the slogan "100% organic" as an empty lure. EU Organic has different levels. Currently, our products have obtained the full Organic status. Look for our new logo on the packaging: a white leaf of 12 stars on a green background and the code of the certifying body (e.g. DE-ÖKO-...). We will place it on the front of the pack.

What's next?

The certificate is not a finish line but a new starting point. In the near future:
1. We will relabel current batches from the old "Bio" marks to the single EU Organic mark.
2. We will add a QR code on the packaging, through which you can download the audit report yourself.

We are proud that our standards are now recognised by the strictest regulators in the world. Thank you for choosing responsible consumption.
